Dvi-D monitor to Gtx 1060

Hey guys,
So i have a dvi-d monitor and i wanted to know if i can buy a dvi-d to dvi-d cable and connect it to the gt 1060.

Yas, That one of the ONLY ways that you can achieve 144HZ over DVI-D. Aside from Display port that provides the best quality of image.

which 1060 do you have? im surprised the monitor didnt come with a cable unless its an older monitor and you lost the cables

Yes your card supports dvi-d, just make sure you do not get a normal dvi cable, it HAS to be the dual link, otherwise you wont be able to reach 144hz.

Also, MAKE SURE YOUR MONITOR supports dvi-d connections on not normal dvi cables.
