I have a motherboard (Advantech AIMB-501) that has a VGA output and a DVI-D. I have an analogue monitor with DVI-I input. When I connect DVI-D output to my monitor, there's no display on it.
Any solution?
I've connected the VGA to another monitor and need two monitors at the same time.

Solution
You cannot use both GPU outputs (VGA & DVI) at the same time - - you can only use one or the other.

The only reason there are two outputs on the motherboard is to give you a choice to suit your particular monitor.

If you want to use two monitors you must install a graphics card which supports two or more monitors.

I have another motherboard, IEI IMB-G41A2 , it has also two ouputs (VGA & DVI-I). Both my VGA monitor and my analogue display work with it. It's a dual graphic and both should work

So you mean there's no way to convert Digital to Analogue?

None that I know of that is reliable, apart from adding a small graphics card, as mentioned.
I have come across advertising for items that do those conversions, but am dubious about whether they actually work or not.
