Hi everyone, after a year of saving up for a beginner GPU, I managed to snag a GT 1030 for my shitty prebuilt. I have it hooked up to my motherboard currently, but I noticed that the cable I was using to connect my display to the PC itself is actually VGA, which is not compatible with the GT 1030, which requires a DVI-DL cable according to specs.

I noticed my monitor has native support for VGA or DVI-D, so I was wondering, is DVI-D compatible with DVI-DL or should I just buy a VGA to DVI-DL adaptor from Best Buy/Target.

Noob question, I know, but I can't seem to find any specific answers regarding DVI-DL to DVI-D compatibility. I know the main difference between VGA and DVI is analog signals vs digital/analog signals, but that's about it.
