Hello fellows. I bought a new monitor to replace my ancient old one. The monitor came with only a VGA cable but has both VGA and DVI-D(doesn't have HDMI though).
So I got a question. DVI-D vs VGA cables. Will there be a performance rise or something if I go from VGA to DVI-D cables? I know that the cable costs only a few $ but for a student even those few $ means much .
GPU: single GTX 760(doesn't have any VGA ports so I use the DVI-D to VGA adapter)
Monitor: BENQ GL2460
(If the hardware info matters here)
Is it worth those few dollars for a DVI-D cable or the performance wise there woun't be a big of an improvement?
