DVI-D wont work on Acer Predator z301c?

I bought a DVI-D Since My graphicscard is too old to have dvi input in it.
It Fits and everything But The screen is Black and says No signal?

What Can i do?

1. You can buy a DVI-D to HDMI adapter.
2. If your graphics card is so old that it doesn't have HDMI, it won't be able to run at that resolution.

Its a Nvidia GeForce 750 Ti, and it has hdmi.
