DVI , HDMI or DisplayPort?

I'm using R290 , and samsung monitor with 1920x1200 @ 60hz. Do these different connection types have advantage over each other at this resolution? Which one shall i choose?

Which version of hdmi cable (or type) do i need?

Either of those cables pretty much do the same thing when it comes to picture. Any cable will do fine. A note, HDMI and DisplayPort also transfer audio, while DVI does not. I personally use an HDMI cable, but it is a personal preference, HDMI and DisplayPort have the same quality level.
