DVI-HDMI PC to TV "not connected"

Hi,

I just bought a Panasonic TC-P60S60. I've connected the DVI-HDMI cable from my Windows 7 PC to the TV with the intention of mirroring the display on my monitor with the TV, but I get a "no signal" message now. This worked flawlessly with my old TV. However, on the new TV, all that I get is a flicker on the TV when I play with the display settings (going from duplicate display to extend display, for example). If I reboot the PC, I will get a VERY distorted/noisy image on the TV while the PC is booting up, but once I get to the login screen for Windows 7, I get the "No signal" message. I have an NVIDIA GTX 260 graphics card and all drivers are up to date. This is driving me nuts, so any help would be appreciated!

But this time not from TV but from computer?
"The fact that a device HAS a DVI interface does not automatically mean that it’s HDCP compliant".
So, I guess it's the graphics card.

Did you use the PC input on the last HDTV, but a regular HDMI input on the new TV?

A regular HDMI input (non-PC) requires you to configure the NVidia Control Panel using the HDTV section (i.e. 1080p_NTSC60).

According the Nvidia Control Panel, the monitor, TV, and graphics card are all HDCP compatible.

No, I used a normal HDMI input on both the old and new TVs. I've tried lowering the resolution in the Nvidia and Windows control panels as well, and that doesn't work. The weird thing is that the TV is absolutely getting a signal (because it flickers when I make display changes and displays a terribly noisy picture when I boot up the computer). It's just not keeping the signal or processing it properly (or so it seems)

Well... it was a faulty connection between the cable and the TV. It looked and felt tight, but if you wiggled it in just the right way, everything worked. So I think it must just be a bad cable. Thanks for the replies!
