DVI-I and DVI-D expert

Urgent help for my friend, he ordered his 750 TI

Here are pics from his monitor and back of pc

What DVI cable/adapter does he need for the 750 TI to work, since his montior is DVI-D and the gpu is DVI-I

(he will buy a dvi cable)

More precisely he wants a DVI-D cable, as the monitor only has a DVI-D input. A DVI-I cable would require an adapter on the monitor end as it wouldn't fit.

Yes sir, thanks for correcting my typo, DVI-D cable. It will work with the DVI-I.

That would be fine, seems to have a lot of good ratings.

If the monitor uses a large resolution or has a 120hz or higher refresh rate you may need a dual link dvi-d cable. If not then the type of cable in the link is fine.

Nah it's 1920x1080 60hz, so its fine.. since the DVI-D will work with DVI-I as the 750 ti has according to you guys, cheers
