DVI-I to DVI-D cable

Hey, my monitor has a DVI-I port and my computer has a DVI-D port, and I'm wondering which cable to get. This website is telling me that a DVI-D to DVI-D cable will work but I wanted ask the computer experts from the e-community if it will work and for any other information on the subject. Thanks alot.

DVI-I accepts both DVI-D and DVI-A in addition to the DVI-I cable. DVI-I is used to give you options. You are best off getting a DVI-D cable, as it'll likely be cheaper and you likely only want a digital signal.
