I am getting a new Video Card and I am the port on it is DVI-I. The monitor I have only has DVI-D. Will I need to get an adapter to connect the monitor to the video card? Or will a DVI-D one work?

Solution
DVI-I is digital and analog. DVI-D is all digital, so your monitor will just use the digital portion of the signal.

It will work fine no adapter needed.
DVI-I cable will have 4 square shaped pins and it will not go into DVI-D.

Yea, one should have come with your monitor. Unless it's a 4K monitor you will most likely need a "single link" DVI-D cable. See Agera One's picture above.
