Hi,

I've just bought a new compurer, and i can not connect it to my monitor.

Monitor ports:
1x VGA
1x DVI-D

Computer ports:
1x DVI-I

I have a VGA cable(It,'s VGA on both sides) and a DVI-I adapter.

I connect my monitor with a side of VGA cable, and another side of the VGA cable withthe DVI-I adapter. I put the adapter in the computer, and on my monitor appear a message "check cable connection".
My VGA cable is good(tested) my DVI-I adapter is good(tested) my monitor is good(tested) my computer is good(tested).
What's the problem here? Why i cannot see anything? Should i buy a DVI-D adapter for my monitor to connect VGA+DVI-I adapter in computer and VGA+DVI-D adapter in monitor?? Please help me..
The monitor is: Phillips HWC8200T
The graphic card: Intel HD Graphics 2500.
