My computer has been working fine for a while now. Last night I turned it off, nothing out of the normal. But today I start it and get a "No DVI signal". The computer goes through its normal physical routine, fans and whatnot during boot up. Last time my graphics card wen out I heard a loud pop from one of the caps blowing out. My motherboard has an on-board temperature detection, and that's working, along with all the lights. So I'm assuming my Mobo is fine. I've tried both the DVI output from my graphics card and from my Mobo, neither give results. And I thought maybe it's the monitor. But I do have a dual monitor setup, and what are the odds that both monitors would go out at the same time? Unfortunately I seem to have misplaced all my VGA cords to try that. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
Just plugging into motherboard wont fix anything if you do not remove the GPU.

Power off pc, remove GPU, plug monitor(s) into motherboard video and see if that works.
That will eliminate the cables/monitor as being faulty. As well as you know that the cpu, ram, and basic functions of motherboard work just fine.
