Dvi lead or dvi to d sub adapter?

HI,

My hp monitor connects with d sub lead that goes into adapter for graphics card dvi slot.

Just wondering if the quality will be better if I use a dvi male to male lead instead.

its only a 22 inch monitor so not sure if I would notice much of a difference using digital?

I have tried it both ways and cannot see any difference. Logic tells me that DVI will be better, but I can't see the difference.

Digital stays perfect when you reach higher resolutions. Analogue does not, but is okay for 1280 and below, just be sure to leave your refresh rate at 60hz (setting it to 75hz is an easy way to blur up a connection.)
