So I want to get the EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti FTW 2GB Video Card and I have the hp w1707 monitor. I am wondering with what cable I should use? Any recommendations? Thank you

The EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti FTW supports outputs: HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI. (If you buy it brand new, it comes with a VGA to DVI adapter too.)

And your HP monitor supports DVI and VGA.

So the easiest cable to use here would be a DVI-I cable.

You could use that adapter that comes with the graphics card, and use a VGA cable, but the best visual output will come from DVI on your specific monitor. :)

So I should use a DVI-I cable and use a DVI-I to VGA Converter?

No the converter is for a VGA cable. Not a DVI cable. - - So if you have a DVI cable, you don't need the adapter. It works in your mentioned monitor and selected graphics card, natively. However, if you have a VGA cable, and don't feel like buying another cable, you can use the included DVI to VGA adapter with it, and that would work too.

But the monitor is dvi-d and the graphics card is Dvi-I.
