I tried building a computer, failed, and had to send it in for reparation. Got it back today and it works perfectly. This is my monitor https://www.komplett.no/asus-24-led-vg248qe/774683. With this monitor came a DVI, VGA and a HDMI cable, but you can only use a DVI and HDMI cable, theres nothing there for a VGA cable. On my computer (the case is a nzxt phantom black and orange) you have 3 places you can put a DVI cable in and only one work. 2 of them says "dvi no signal" and with one of them it works, but the resolution is 800x600 which doesn't make sence as my monitor is 1920x1080. It also say my maximum refresh rate is 60hz, but its 140hz. I have gone to control panel and then to screen resolutions but the maximum I can choose is 800x600. This obviously looks terrible and Im wondering how I can fix this.

Hello... Right Click your desktop-Screen resolution, to get into your Display options.
You must set each monitor for the cable type connection you are using, by pushing the right buttons on it.
DVI is a Digital signal and is best... HDMI is the same Digital signal too, with Digital sound... VGA is a Analog signal and should be avoided in your setup.
Be sure to put the DVI cable on the correct place. The one DVI you may successfully use is probably from the Mainboard which uses Integrated graphics. But, I think you have a GPU there so I assume the other two that doesn't work came from the GPU. This is not suppose to happen. There is maybe something wrong with the GPU. I would try installing monitor and graphics driver first and see if the problem presists. If it is still there something might be defective.
