So I've had this problem for about 2 weeks now... and I've talked to just about everyone I know that can help me out. Although I still can't find a fix. Anyway, I'm a gamer, and I have a mostly a high-end gaming desktop. I was able to play games for about 2 weeks AFTER I built it (I play games like DayZ, Black Ops 2, Skyrim, ETC.) until I got a DVI no signal. I thought, "Okay, maybe a quick restart or something can fix the issue." So I restarted my computer, ran the game... DVI No signal. So I took it over to Best Buy and they did a hardware diagnostics check. Everything passed, so I'm almost sure it's a software issue.

Here is the list of my system components:

Intel Core i7 4790k Processor
Gigabyte GTX 970 Graphics Card
Z97 Fatal1ty Killer Motherboard
ASUS VG248QE Monitor
EVGA 750W Power Supply
16G Kingston RAM
H80i Hydrocooler

Now I did have 2 1 TB 7200RPM Seagate Hardrives, there were not setup in a raid. I was told those were cheap hardrives, so I borrowed an SSD from a friend. It is a SAMSUNG 256Gb hardrive. (Forgot the Model number) And my games worked for about 2 days once I switched to the SSD, I didn't get any DVI No signal's or anything. Then I got a DVI No signal after 2 days. Here are the things I've tried (Now keep in mind I did pass a hardware check, but I don't know if I can really trust the diagnostics check)

I've tried switching operating systems
I've tried switching from 2 HDD's to an SSD
Switched Operating systems to Windows 7
Passed Hardware Diagnostics checked
Everything isn't running warm or hot at all, checked the temp's and they are fine.
Switched from DVI To HDMI, got an HDMI No Signal

Now one thing I'm not entirely sure about is I don't know if all the Software Drivers are installed for my components, and the CD that came with my monitor doesn't work, and getting it offline is really Strange. Like I said I've tried almost everything and I feel really helpless... Really want to get this beast up and running again, maybe you guys can help me out?

-check for latest drivers on the internet
- reinstall windows(yes this mean formatting your drive)
-and if all else fails try a new graphics card

P.S. silly question but is your dvi/hdmi attached to the gpu plugs or the mobo plugs
