[SOLVED] DVI no signal, main monitor

Hey. My pc turns on and runs fine, but my my pc wont connect to my monitor. When i turn it on my monitor says DVI no signal and then turns off. I have tired with different cables like the VGA cable and i have tried with another monitor, but still does not work. Someone Plz help.

Widows 10 pro
Asus Strix Geforce GTX 1050TI,
Motherboard: Asus Prime h310-Plus
I5 CORE 6500
16 GIG ram

What's the brand and model of the monitor?

The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti's DVI port is digital only (i.e. DVI-D) and doesn't output an analog video signal so VGA is not supported.

Have you tried using a DVI-D or HDMI cable? D-Sub (a.k.a. VGA) is unsupported by the graphics card since it is now an EOL (End-Of-Life) technology since 2015.

Yes. I tired with a HDMI cable but still nothing

Are you using the graphics output ports on the graphics card or the motherboard?

Is the motherboard's UEFI setup set to use the discrete graphics card as the primary/initial video device?

Have you also tried testing using the Intel HD Graphics 530 integrated graphics on the CPU with the video output ports on the motherboard?

So the cable i used before was a DVI cable, but i have tried with DVI connected to the graphics card, and i tried with a HDMI cable connected to the motherboard. so i have tried output ports on the graphics card and the motherboard. I don't know much about the UEFI setup, can you explain?

Doesn't your motherboard's User Manual describe the UEFI BIOS Setup settings?

I Can't access the bios or the UEFI Firmware Settings

If you remove the discrete graphics card the motherboard should automatically switch over to use the integrated graphics processor on the CPU.

If you can't even get the system running on integrated graphics then you have a more serious problem.

If i remove te graphics card nothing is connected to the screen, how would the integrated graphics processor on the CPU show something?

It's pretty obvious that the video output ports on the motherboard's rear I/O panel are for the integrated graphics. The monitor should be connected to one of those video ports.

Then there's something wrong with the CPU or motherboard. Are there any damaged pins in the CPU socket?

yea. Looks like some pins in the CPU socket could be damaged. Thanks =)

Those pins, in the CPU socket, are extremely fragile. On the rare occasion it may be possible to bend the pins back into place and the motherboard will function properly again. In a lot of cases the pin damage is severe enough that the motherboard will need to be replaced.
