DVI or HDMI for gaming?

It's kind of late to ask this question as I've already bought a monitor, but all help will be appreciated. My monitor only has a DVI port and an S_RBG port ( if I remember right) and I was depressed by the absence of an HDMI port. This got me wondered that which of the three types of ports will be best for gaming? Also, is there something like a DVI to HDMI converter and will it work? Thanks everybody!

Both DVI and HDMI carries Digital Signal....expect....HDMI carries Audio Signal along with it......

SO, i say both are good for Gaming

I know there are converters but will the converter allow me to send audio? Also, if I play a game or watch a YouTube video, will that mean that there will be no audio?
