Hi to everyone
Im planning to buy a new monitor 24 inch is and im stuck wich cable
use dvi or hdmi ? using for internet and some gaming
is any difference between them?

Solution
They are both same quality digital wise, HDMI carries audio.

HDMI is easier to work with, its just a plug in. Dvi need to worry about bending pins -_- hah

They're the same in terms of quality. Like boju said, HDMI also carries audio, while DVI does not. If you're PC gaming this isn't a concern, but if you're going to hook up a console, then yes, you'd want HDMI. HDMI is easier to use as well.

The real difference comes in terms of refresh rates. Duallink DVI can go up to 120hz, while HDMI maxes out at 60.
