Dvi output

Hi,
with a lot of dvi having extra letters,as dvi-d or dvi-i. is all dvi connection the same.

DVI-D Outputs a digital signal.
DVI-A Outputs an analog signal just like VGA.
DVI-I Capable of carrying either digital or analog signal (only one at a time).

Are you trying to decide which cable to use to connect your graphics card to your monitor?
