Dvi to Vga help.

I have a GPU with dvi, of course. My monitior is vga, and i'm worried that when I build my new pc and have the GPU working that my monitor will not work with the card. I'm going to by an adapter for this. But i'm worried about the monitor being analog, and the card being digital. This problem happend before and the monitor would display an analog -digital box. Help soon, as I am building my PC in a week or so.

If the video card has a dvi-i port you'll be fine with a cheap adapter. If it only has dvi-d then it would require a converter which costs a bit more.
