DVR requires reboot for remote view in LAN

We have been using same DVR for 4 years, presently am facing issue. Remote view works fine, then suddenly it drops the remote view but ping works fine during this drop. Then I need to restart the DVR to view remotely again. Before only user A was only using this remote view purpose. Now user B also started using it, after a week of this I suspect when the user A try to watch the connection fails.. Why is it caused? i have changed port from 99 to 60000 to check still same issue. i am sing static ip in the device itself which is out of the DHCP scope.
