Hi, not sure if this question should be here or in hardware. My question is, would it be beneficial to upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 as I have just brought a new GPU that uses DX12. Would there be any real gains from the card.
Many thanks.

At the moment? no, not for Dx12 only.

Reasoning is that almost none of the current games support dx12. A handful do but unless you play said games that happen to support it, no real benefit.

If you have other reasons besides dx12 to go for windows 10, then yes, going for it would be worth it.

It would if you have got a Radeon or Pascal GPU, and are buying new games as they come out. Not in all games DX12 is faster, as most games were still made for DX11 and patched for DX12. But often it is faster, and you will be able choose better performance between DX11 and DX12.
