Dying graphics card? Strange symptoms

My computer screen shifts to the right a few inches....I can move my mouse across as if it was set up for two monitors. Now I restart computer and everything is back to normal for a hour or two then happens again. I've looked up all the stuff about monitor settings tried all that...even got another monitor and same problem. Also tried different cords. Sometimes I would see little clearish lines when i'd moved a window to a new spot. Then the next day same problem then all the sudden my whole screen turns a tan/yellow color with kinda box like pattern all over. I'm thinking my graphics card is dying but want to be sure before I go out and buy. Thanks for your time!

That is definitely the sign of GPU dying. Because I had exactly the same situation before long time ago with a very old computer. For my the screen was like being warped onto one side and color issues. Of course if you are still using a CRT same thing could happen, but I doubt anyone still uses CRT.
