dying light corrupted save game

my pc turned off while i was playing and the game was saving and after i turned it back on the save game was corrupted so is there anyway to fix it or restore it to the time before it was corrupted?

Most corrupted files can't be repaired and you should delete or replace them. However, you can occasionally use a program to repair a corrupted file (or at least salvage some of the data within the file). Some programs of this type are available on the web. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about using said programs.

Maybe try to do a system restore & see if it will revert back to an older save game file.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is much you can do about it. :/

Unless you had an actual backup image of your system from the previous day your S.O.L.
There's a reason every game has a "Do not close the game or shutdown the computer while saving the game" message every time it saves.
