Dymo printer randomly prints dump logs

We have a DYMO 450 label printer hooked up by USB to a Dell computer running Windows 7 that randomly prints out a huge dump log. If you un-install / re-install the drivers, it works for a while, then does the same thing after a couple of days. Has anyone run into a similar issue?

Are you using a long USB cable or an extender? Is it actually printing something legible form a file or just random characters? Is it set as the default printer? Need a bit of info here about the setup, is there a batch print job that is run automatically maybe? I know plenty of systems print out automatic reports like SAP.

Thanks for your response hang-the-9. I believe we figured out the issue. We found out a custodian took the Dymo apart to clear some jammed stickers, however, it appears that he did not get the front plate back on entirely correct, but got it on just enough to depress the front buttons (holding down those buttons causes the test patterns to come out). When one of the administrative assistants moved the Dymo to another location, it "jostled" it enough to release those buttons and stopping those test dumps. Again, thanks for responding!
