Can anyone help ?
When ever I type using my laptop, I get loads of additional letter E's in
the text.
Is this a virus or some other problem ?
This happens using all programs and applications and my Laptop is unusable.
How can I rectify this ?

Most likely a defective keyboard. Hook up an external keyboard. If the
problem stops you'll have your answer.
