i have gmail and when i click on an email from a website it says default email not installed and wont let me send an email. it used to till this latest internet explorer update .what do i do?

Gmail is web based - and when you click on an email, it is wanting to open a default mailing program on your computer (not webmail). For instance, Outlook express, Outlook or Thunderbird. Unless you copy the email address and paste it into your webmail - The link wont work unless one of the above email programs is installed on your computer.
