Question E.X.P.O. I vs II option in Asus TUF B650M BIOS

I remember on my Intel system, XMP I vs II had something to do with cooling. Googly doesn't seem to have any info on what the two different EXPO options in Asus BIOS do differently.

I think XMP is for overclocking memory optimized for intel and EXPO is the same but for AMD.

You might find it's just a diff in ram timings.

Use cpuz and see what the timings are for each.

Each different EXPO/XMP/DOCP option corresponds to single profile saved on stick. However many sticks come with just one profile so no matter which option is chosen the result is exactly the same. And if I got the right kit info (you didn't specify SKU) your kit has only one EXPO profile saved.

Comparing the settings in HWINFO64 shows the following difference EXPO I vs II

tWTP 107T vs 101T
tWR 96T vs 90T
tRC 147T vs 134T (134 = my tRP 38 + tRAS 96)
tRFC 886T vs 884T

I guess lower numbers mean tighter? Those values for EXPO I show AUTO in the BIOS, but the EXPO II values actually show numbers instead.
