EDIT: wrong thread I know. My bad. ;-;

I was using this website, and these are the benches between my two builds in my budget (which are both give or take $800). I just want to know how true this is, because my budget depends on one, or the other. Everything else aside. I just want to know how true this is. I game mainly, but I also wish to be able to stream and record more games at the same time.

I can't get an exact answer. What am I giving up by getting the E3 1231-V3? Will I lose a lot of fps in games but gain better streaming and recording performance? Will the fps difference be fairly small? I've asked a few times on this site and others, but I can't get someone to actually answer my question.

If you'd like to see both builds, I can post them both. However, I think you can get a general idea from the link above. Thanks for all the help guys. I just want to get an answer from someone who knows/has used both, or can redirect me somewhere so I can get an answer. 😛 Alternatively, you could somehow fit something better into an 800 budget. If you wish to do so, I literally need the entire build other than the monitor, keyboard, and mouse (whole build including an OS).

Thanks again. 🙂

Solution
Nothing else to it but that. Xeon is simply faster. You "may" have less framerate in the very few games that require very fast processors in terms of clockspeed, but that's the only real disadvantage.

Okay. Thank you.
