Hello Folks,

In wusy's guide it says to up the SB (southbridge) voltage but on this board (see sig) it doesnt have a south bridge voltage option  Any ideas on what i should change?

The options i have are (G)vMCH FSB PCI-E DDR and CPU

Any helpful comments?

Thanks!

SB voltage increase usually isn't needed, especially at lower OCs. Hit Ctrl + F1 when in the BIOS, it unlocks some memory timing options and possibly a couple other things.

Thanks for the reply, I know the Ctrl F1 trick thats how I was able to change the timings; I was just concerned that my MB doesnt have a SB voltage control  it's not really a concern for now as im only running a small OC (2.4GHz) but in the furture it will be.

Any helpful comments appreciated.

In all likelihood your CPU will give out before you need to up the SB voltage.

Most E4300's I am seeing are hitting around 310-333 before becoming unstable. My E4300 is still ticking at 375.... but barely, took 3 days to get it stable, but I don't think I have increased the SB voltage yet. I am not saying wusy is wrong, but I *think* that is just for high oc's (400+).

Ahh ok thanks; mines @ 333x9 rock stable with (G)MCH +1 FSB +1 vCore1.375 DDR2 +3 I could run it all at lower levels but I was taking a performance hit.

So does 1.55MCH 1.30FSB 2.1DDR and vCore1.3750 seem average to you guys?

Thanks all!
