hi, i have E4400 L2 stepping @ 3.15 with 1.3500Vcore OCed from 2.0Ghz (with this core, load temp with prime95 is 60C)
3DMark06 i get 2668 on cpu
i want to get around 3.5 but i cant get that number for my core.
i got 3.3Ghz with 1.425V but fails during Prime.
im not pro at OCing, like many people here are.

i didnt change anything for the Ram timing (i dont want to make more things complicated)

current bios settings are
315Mhz X 10 = 3.15Ghz
Ram ratio is 2.0 - makes my ram running at 315Mhz (stock speed is 333MHz - PC2 5300)
Vcore - 1.3500 in bios( 1.344 in cpuz)

my hardwares
E4400
Corsair 450VX PSU
GA-P35-DS3L
HD2600PRO OCed
2X 320GB HDD
3X DVD+RW

what Vcore and clock will be perfect for core to be around 3.5G?

i doubt it will get there without some extreme voltages.. imo 3ghz would be fine, my e4400 crapped out at 2.9 cos of my retarded asrock mobo... but how can you not be happy with over 50% oc?

i dont know why but i want to max out all NUMBERS in my pc...

do i test my computer with prime95 with every new increased voltages if one under fails? that will take long time... ill try little, but if this thing gets bored i guess ill just keep it at 3.15

thanks for replies

First thing you want to do u not go crazy,

10 to 15 increments on the cpu speed,

And add +1V to voltages until stable (then prime it and then stablize you're memory)

Achmed will return!
