Right now, i have my E4400 overclocked @ 3.0 Ghz on a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R mobo.
I was curious as to what temperature monitor to use in Vista. I noticed that Speedfan almost always reads 10 degrees lower then TAT. Also, TAT seems to read higher when im in vista, vs when im using XP.
As it stands under load, im running at 62 - 63 degrees, and idle at 43 - 45 degrees according to TAT.
According to Speed fan, i am idling at around 28 - 29 degrees, and runing at 45 - 50 degrees under load.
The room temperature is about 22 degrees.
Are these temps normal, or should i reapply the paste ? Im using a Scythe Katana 2 for cooling, with optimal air flow.
