e5-2620v3 memory compatibility

Hi everyone!..again,
Today I'll spend a lot of money and build myself pc based on lga2011-3. But I have a doubt. On Intel's official site in specs of Xeon e5-2620v3, maximal memory frequency described as 1866 MHz. So I'm wondering: will ddr4 2133 MHz work for this CPU? And if it will, will there be any drawbacks?

The cpu supports 1866mhz Max. If you buy 2133 mhz, it will just run at reduced frequency and there won't be any drawbacks.

Does this work for regular ddr4 or only for registered?

It will work for both ecc and non ecc memory.
