E5645 or X5650

So I'm looking to build another PC, the game I'm looking to focus on is PUBG. Since I know it recently got a patch that optimized 6+ cores I want to get an old XEON workstation and slap a 1050ti in there. I also know that lots of memory really helps smooth the game. So my question is: Should I get the X5650@2.66 w/12gb RAM, Or the E5645@2.40 w/16gb RAM? I'm open to other suggestions but I'm trying to keep it under $350.

I'm pretty certain you would get more out of a new Pentium G4600.
