Can someone help me with overclocking a E6320?

I've got

2x 1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800
XFX nForce630I

hmmmmm its more down to your motherboard and ram, you may only see 2.8ghz tops with ~1.45v but as previously stated - READ THE GUIDES

every cpu, motherboard and ram combo is different, along with each individual sample of a processor - theres no one way to do it etc and nothing is the same.

Hi guys
I've been trying some settings out.
On stock voltage which i believe seems to be 1.31v i have set it the FSB/RAM to unlinked and set the RAM at 800MHz (stock) for now.
I have the FSB at 1400MHz as at 1500MHz the BIOS would come up with a safe mode error and would revert to the stock speeds/bios default.
I have ran some benchmark software and the temp in coretemp reached 63 degrees.
I tried change the CPU voltage up each available step up to 1.4v i think and it made no difference, i think my motherboard will take up to 1.55v but i didn't try that far.
CPU-Z reports 2450.4 MHz
Is there anything i can do to overclock any higher?

Put the cpu voltage down to 1.35
Increase MCH to 1.35
Try using 400 FSB, set multi to 6x to start, then raise to 7 on the next try.
Turn off spread spectrum in the bios.

Also, try running Coretemp to get the Voltage ID for your chip. It might give you more insight into if your chip was "born" a good overclocker.
