Guys hello

I'm newbie in OC and i'd like some help to try something.

After i've spend alot of time reading forums about OC i've decided to make a try and I've made one maschine with the following parts (+ Water cooling system which I've ordered it and it should be here by the end of next week)

1) CPU E6550 2.33 Ghz
2)Motherboard: ASUS P5Q3 DELUXE
3)RAM: AENEON PC3 4 GB 1333 Ghz
4)Chieftech 650W
5)GRAPHIC CARD: SAPPHIRE 4870

First of all I've made some changes into bios to OC my CPU based on the following link and finaly i've manage to run my CPU at 3 Gzh with max core stress after 10 Hr at 64-67 C temp (I think thats ok).

My problem is that my precious memory which I have paid alot of money, in CPU-Z shows the below statement.

My question is why is my memory synchronized into 440 Mhz when its nominal speed is for 1333Mhz ??? [/#ff003b

Does anyone know the right values that is shouls put into BIOS for my ram and possible for my CPU ???

Is 65-70 C Temp right for my CPU ???

When will I understand that all is ok and my system is at the maximum performance ???

Thanks in advance

Is that 65-70C under load or idle? If idle, you'll need to cool it more.

You basically know when your system's maximized when you can no longer attain stability. Running benchmarks will also help you determine the best performance-oriented OC setup.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes that temperature is when I run prime 95 in full stress, when it’s idle is about 40-45 c.

Basically, the problem is that when I raise my CPU clock to 3.00 GHz and more (433 x 7) it’s not stable under full stress and after 10 minutes it found errors. I.ve tried with differed CPU volts but with no result.

One other question is why my memory in cpuid says 667 MHz and not 1333 MHz that is the nominal speed of my memory??

Now I’m running my cpu at 2.8 (400 x 7) vcore 1.4 volt FSB 1600 and under full stress in prime 95 found no errors, memory is 1333Mhz (in cpuid says 667Mhz) with 1,5 volt, maximum temperature is 70- 72 c under full stress and 40-45 when its idle. But I must say that I'm not happy with that, I know that I can take more of my cpu, what can I do??

Thanks in advance
