i just wanted to ask something...
i'm running a core 2 duo E6550 on idle temp 45 c, on load never exceeding 66 c (reported by core temp),
heat sink Artic freezer 7 fan speed is roughly 600 - 700 rpm on idle, 2000 on max load (PWM Enabled).
When using gigabyte tools (hardware monitoring), the reported temp is 35 c on idle on load 60 max.
i don't know which 1 is correct....? however it seems to me that, gigabyte tools has taken this core temp value from bios. since they both match each other.
is it normal ?
in my opinion, by using artic freezer 7 core temp should be lower than 45 on idle..
my spec is :
gigabye p35-s3l
e6550 2333 ghz. (enabled the gigabyte CIA automatic variable overcloking or such on full thrust resulted at steady 2.85 ghz on load)
does any 1 here using e6550 on stock fan ? can u tell me the core temp and fan speed on idle ?
thx in advance...
