I clocked my CPU, E6600 (2.4Ghz) to 2.509Ghz, when under load running CPU burner for 5 minutes, my CPU temp topped out at 58degrees C and stabalised there. Should I clock it back down due to risk of damage to the CPU? Or can i leave it there? Idle temp is still 32/35 degrees C

58 C is not high, and what CPU burner are you using? If you are using Intel's Linpack, you shouldnt. Use Prime95. Intels linpack will just damage your CPU.
