E6700 Overclocking question

Hi, I just finished my new PC and wanted to do a little overclocking on it. I've never overclocked before so I'm very new to this. All I want to overclock is my CPU from 2.6ghz to 3ghz.

My system is:

Core 2 Duo E6700
Asus P5W DH Deluxe
4gig Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 C4 (I got Windows XP Media till Vista comes out so only 2gigs works for now)
XFX GeForce 7950GX2
2x WD Raptor 150g 10krpm in raid 0
Creative soundblaster X-Fi Platinum
Zalman Reserator 2 Liquid cooling
PC Power & Cooling 750W Silencer
Lian Li S80 case

Here are my BIOS Settings atm:

Digital Home Mode [Disabled]

I tried just changing the FSB to 300, but that didn't work. Could someone tell me what other setting(s) I need to change to bring my CPU up to 3ghz please? Thanks. :lol:

I see what the problem was I think. When I changed the FSB to 300 I didn't notice the DDR2 Frequency went up to 900MHz. So I Changed the FSB to 300 then the DDR@ Freq. to 800MHz the PCI Express Freq. from auto to 100 and the PCI Clock Synchronization from auto to 33.3. Does that sound alright? Speedfan says It's at about 22C Idle and Core Temp says about 30C Idle. I haven't run Prime95 yet though. Also I didn't change any voltages and left everything else how it was on Auto, is that ok?

Under the guide Wusy does recommend to do the following to voltages:

Part3. Voltage (again not all BIOS will have the option or uses different name)
***The following voltages are to be used with Part4***

1. Set DRAM/DIMM Voltage (vDIMM) to 2.1V or 2.2V if specified by RAM (+0.3V or +0.4V)
2. Set MCH Voltage (vMCH) to 1.55V
3. Set FSB Voltage (vFSB) to 1.40V
4. Increase SB Voltage (vICH) by +0.1V from default-lowest value
5. Set CPU Voltage (vCore) for the following CPU

E6300=1.370V E6400=1.375V E6600=1.400V E6700=1.400V X6800=1.400V

But as with all OC's it all depends on how high you are wanting to go.
