E6850 not working in Dell Dimension E520(0wg864 MB)

I recently got a E6850 CPU to replace the stock cpu but the computer doesn't start up and just shows a blinking amber led.
Putting the old CPU back in works as fine as before.
Is there anything I can do to make it work or is this a dead end?

Make sure the BIOS is updated on the system, aside from that nothing else you can do.

Sorry, bad news
fastest Conroe CPUs validated (supported) are:
KU345 Conroe E6600, 2.40G, 4MB, 1066FSB, B2
PN416 Conroe E6700, 2.66G, 4MB, 1066FSB, B2

That chip wont work due to 1333fsb, E520 supports 1066fsb, 65nm chips only. BIOS 2.4.0 is latest.
These will work Q6700,QX6700,X6800,QX6800. X chips won't be unlocked in BIOS but can be unlocked with Throttlestop software.
