E7440 will not boot up

Dell Latitude E7440 will not boot up, Power light comes on for about 10-15 seconds, no other lights are lit and no fan sound! Have tried another battery and charger direct with no success, also removed the battery and held the power button for 30 seconds as recommended on another thread and still no success. Anyone got any ideas??

Probably bad motherboard. We have a decent size stack of those models with bad motherboards. Seems Dell has common issues across model ranges. The E7440 is bad motherboards and lines on the screen, 7470 has horrible batteries that die withing months of use or even sooner. 73xx models have large amounts of fan noise even at idle.
