e8400 overclocked to 3.16 core temps

Here are is an image of the my core temps etc.....

I wanted to know if these specs look right according to the hardware I have listed below with my e8400 slightly overclocked at 3.16G

Motherboard:
XFX nForce 780i SLI Intel 775 socket
FSB 1333
8G DDR2 (I'm only using 4 right now)
8-channel HD Audio
UP to 3-way SLI (I'm only running 2 Graphics cards at the moment)

CPU
Intel E8400 Dual Core 3.0G (I have heard these can be clocked up to 4.0 but I haven't messed with that yet)

Graphics Card
2 - XFX GeForce 8800GT 512 DDR3 (Running in SLI mode)

Cooling Fan
Zalman CNPS9700 LED Air Cooled

Power Supply
Thermaltake 750W

Tower
Thermaltake Armor MX Full Tower

Are those idle temps?

Vcore too high for that size overclock. Be sure and set vcore and vdimm manually. looks like a little over 40 celsius cpu temp with under 10 % load so thats ok. To help give you a comparison...I can run 9x420 at a 1.25 vcore.

Shadowthor - I only had some explorer windows open along with the monitoring utilities and that's it so pretty close to idle.

RRron - I guess I need to do some more research on the proper settings for the vcore and vdimm because I'm not sure what to set those at. Any links for this would be appreciated..... thanks.

Okay but I didn't set the vcore....... that is a factory setting unless the mobo automatically set the vcore for me.

If I up the frequency the voltage typically needs to be increased right? It wouldn't go down when increasing the frequency because it stands to reason that it would need more juice to feed the higher frequency....... at least in my mind I see it that way. I have printed out the guide and will be reading it today.

Okay I did a stress test and maxed out at 51C during the test...... is that normal or high. I haven't adjusted any voltages because I don't know enough yet to be playing around with that.
