Just upgraded from an AMD 4600+, but nevermind that, now I have this:

E8400 w/ CM Hyper TX2

XFX 780i

PNY 8800 GT

Ultra X-Connect 400 Watt psu

2GB Corsair DDR2 800 MHZ

Just after I installed XP I went to see what I could do for overclocking. I've gotten FSB 1600 and the E8400 @ 3.6 ghz. But anything past that (1700, 1800 ect. ) Wont go even when I take the voltage from <1.3 to 1.4 and still nothing is this a ram or mobo issue? The ram is unsynced right now because that leaves a 1:1 FSB:DRAM which seems to be what is good for OC'ing. Any suggestions?

I would blame it on the mobo but a review from a tech site I read before buying said they pushed their processor up to FSB 1900.......

I am rolling a 1645 FSB hitting 3.7GHz with my 680i mobo and E8400.
It is possible that you got a gimp mobo or processor that could be RMA'd.

It is also possible that the power supply freaks out when you try to hit more then 1600 FSB. I am suprised that wussy power supply even feels like booting up that PC...

You're supposed to have minimum 500watt + with an 8800 GT. If your system is underpowered it WILL act funny or just not work.

I had a 500 Wat PSU but it was kinda crappy, and didn't have a native PCI-E 6 pin, and didn't have a 8 pin mobo connector so I'm stuck with this one....
