ok for a long time now my stock has been running at 50 C under no load, i just reinstalled speedfan after it got uninstalled, its been 2 weeks since than. The temps now run at 55C idle is that anything to worry about. I am buying a new Heatsink in a few days probably this one http://www.pro-clockers.com/reviews/?id=62&page=3. Is it ok or is my heatsink not making the same contact it is push pin.

prolly no tmaking contact... those pushpins are a btich

this is what i do... i keep them in the unlocked position, i believe that;s the direction the arrows point, i line them up with the holes, and i check to see if the pins are all line up and not bent funny

than i press down two diagnolly at a time, and than i put it in the lock position... i grab the heatsink and move it side to side, and if it doesn;t rattle or move, its locked in

but is it ok for maybe like a week because im going to be getting a new one soon and i don't want to take out the whole board twice, ohh and now the temps are down to 52 under no load

the heatsink probably is doing its best.have you seen how skinny those stock heatsink is?they are ridiculous!
the one on the left is what im talking about!
