I have an intel 6750 cpu. A co worker received a warranty replacement E8400, and fount it was the MOBO that was bad. He wants to sell it to me for $50.00 is it worth the price. My mobo is the P5n-e sli ( 1301 bios) and a 7650 video card 4 gigs of G skill pc 6400 memory.

E8400 for $50.00 is a GREAT price no matter if you're going to use it or not. To see if it will work with your motherboard, go to the ASUS website and check the CPU list for the specific motherboard, it may require a BIOS update.
