EA3500 linksys router loss power and now wont get internet from the modem

EA3500 linksys router loss power and now wont get internet from the modem. I had reset the power and even put back to factory settings. Modem does work, I am not sure what else to do

Disconnect the power and coax cable from the modem.
Disconnect power to router.
Wait 2 minutes.
Reconnect power and coax to modem.
Wait 2 minutes.
Connect power to router.

If this doesn't work then you may need to call cable company and verify your modem is up and running. If it is, then might be time to get a new router.

Did you follow what I wrote exactly and it didn't work? Reason I ask is because I had similar issues and I had tried power cycling everything but the key was unplugging the coax cable.
