Hello, my motherboard is msi B450 tomahawk max, and I'm using windows 10.
My problem is, there are two Ports in the front panel of the cabinet one is for mic another one is for headphones. I am using sony XB75AP with inline mic, but plugging in the headphone port i can hear audio but there is no mic fluctuations. On the other hand the mic port isn't behaving like a output source nor a input one (no mic Mic fluctuations either). I checked the mic port of the pc using seperate mic and recording worked fine.
These days i need to do work from home, can you guys please tell me how to use earphones on pc? And is there any better earphone that goes with pc?

Solution
your computer can't discern output from input through a single 3.5mm audio jack.
your headset would need both mic & audio cables to work this way.

unless it comes with a USB converter, I doubt you'll be able to get what you're looking for.

recommendations would depend on the type of headset you're looking for;
in ear, over ear, on ear, single ear, etc.
and what your budget allows.
