Question Earphones suddenly stopped working

I was listening to music at work and suddenly music stopped and started playing from phone speakers. I tried to blow into jack in phone, did not help. Tried to unplug and connect earphones, didnt work. Tried to restart phone, still didnt work. Then i asked my friend to try them on his phone. Music was playing from phone speakers and earphones but on my phone only playing from phone speakers. Can i do something to make it work or do ineed to send them to repair?

No, phone is Sony and earphones are sony too but they didnt come with phone

That's a great news if you had payed more than $15 Sony will fix it for ya if you had bought em from a random for about $10 then there's nothing to do
