Hi!
The situation I will be presenting happens to many people, but is often considered trivial.
So one day as I was using my earphones, I wanted to put the headphone band down to the bottom (don't ask me why), but then I found out I could not because the wires were twisted the wrong way. My headphones use flat cables, so the wires in the band are hard to twist back into position. I am also afraid of breaking the wires in the process of twisting them. If someone could help me twist the wires back into the right position, it would be greatly appreciated.
Here is an image:
My earphones are the Beyerdynamic IDX 200 IE.

Thanks in advance!

The cables may not have actually been continually "flat" to begin with.... May simply not have been noticed until you slid the band down.

However, as near as I can determine from the photograph, the plug end might have been passed through the loop between plug and band.

Slide the band as far away from the plug as you can and pass the plug through the loop to undo the twist. Look both the plug and cable carefully to ensure you do the pass in the correct direction.

Do not force or make some other attempt to flatten the two cables together. If they flatten together easily and naturally then okay.

Otherwise, best to leave alone.
